A fresh political confrontation has surfaced in Madhya Pradesh as Chief Minister Mohan Yadav strongly criticized Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge over his recent statement concerning Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Reacting sharply in Bhopal, Mohan Yadav described Kharge’s remarks as inappropriate and unacceptable, stating that such comments do not align with the dignity expected from a leader holding a significant position. He termed the statement as “flippant” and said it reflects poorly on the conduct of the Congress leadership.

The Chief Minister further accused the Congress party of repeatedly making political missteps, suggesting a pattern in their approach. “The Congress is making one mistake after another,” he said, adding that the party should introspect on its behaviour, conduct, and past actions.

Yadav emphasized that public discourse, especially at the highest levels of politics, should maintain a certain standard of respect and responsibility. He argued that statements targeting national leadership in a casual or dismissive manner could undermine the seriousness of political dialogue.

Demanding accountability, he called on Mallikarjun Kharge to issue an apology and avoid making such remarks in the future. According to Yadav, such a step would be necessary to uphold the decorum expected in democratic politics.

The exchange highlights the intensifying political rhetoric between the ruling establishment and the opposition, with leaders increasingly engaging in sharp verbal confrontations. As the political climate heats up, statements and counter-statements continue to dominate the narrative.

Mohan Yadav’s response has added to the ongoing war of words, reflecting the growing tensions between the Bharatiya Janata Party and the Congress leadership. The issue is expected to further escalate as both sides continue to defend their positions in the public domain.
